Llantwit Major Cavaliers Cricket Club

We're a small, friendly, family oriented club playing East Wales Conference Division 1 cricket with two league sides on a Saturday and playing in the Glamorgan and Monmouthshire League on a Sunday. The club also has a senior and Colts team in the Vale of Glamorgan Midweek League. We have a progressive youth section (with a full U-9/11/13/15 support) and would also like to develop a girls interest. The club is keen to promote the sport in the local area.

Cricket in Llantwit Major dates back a long time - to at least 1866 - and has been played at various venues and by several different Llantwit based clubs since that time. New members, sponsors, helpers, parents etc are always welcome.

2011 Season: Llantwit Major Cavaliers Win Vale of Glamorgan Midweek League and Glamorgan & Monmouthshire Sunday League, finish third in the Welsh Club Cricket Conference First Division 1st XI League and 5th in the WCCC First Division 2nd XI League.

At our EGM on Sunday 11th December 2011 the Llantwit Major Cavaliers voted unanimously to join the South Wales Cricket Association. Thanks very much to Welsh Club Cricket Conference for providing the Cavs with competitive league cricket for the past 15 years or so
